The country has established a comprehensive supply chain control system centered on mandatory national standards and supplemented by voluntary standards.

On June 1, 2024, mandatory national standards including the “General Safety Requirements for Footwear” and “Technical Specifications for Children’s Footwear” took effect, imposing stricter requirements on footwear products. Footwear products must also comply with relevant product-specific standards. For luggage and bags, industry standards serve as the foundation, while special categories such as children’s luggage have additional specialized standards specifying safety requirements.
